De Laurentis was imported into the US as a 2 year old, 2001 from Hengst Kouring in Verden Germany.
He successfully completed his performance test on 2nd October 2002. He received excellent scores: Character-9, Temperament- 9, Willingness-9, Consitiution-9, Walk-9.17, Trot-8.73, Canter-8.33.
He has proven himself time and time again to be an excellent sire of performance horses, with offspring excelling in both jumping and in the dressage ring!
He was selected for his kind temperament, beauty, movement and excellent bloodlines.
The first foals by De Laurentis were born in the US in 2004. The foals already exemplified the exceptional quality and movement of their sire. Most notable was the excellent articulation of the hind leg and correctness of gaits.
Mary Dell Farm´s Champion colt ¨Diamond Mine¨ by De Laurentis and out of Royal Gem (Royal Diamond). He won the colts 2004 class with an 82.3%, was colt champion, young horse champion and ¨Best foal in show¨ at the Good Horsemen Breeder´s Showcase.
Drum Roll colt by De Laurentis is currently leading the 2 year old Hunter Breeding division for the US. Drum Roll was shown at the Devon Horse Show.
De Feiner Star, by De Laurentis who scored an outstanding 84.8 at his first show in the US! He has been invited to compete at the Young Horse Championships at Lamplight in July 2010.
